Some of our most favorite shows to record so far have had some kind of game associated with it so we decided to come up with a new series we plan on doing every once in a while dubbed Micro or Macro. The idea is two of us brought in a macro crispy boi aka lager, pilsner, kolsh, etc and the other two brought in a micro/craft version. We all blind taste them and try to figure out what is what. You'd be surprised at which ones we liked the most!
As always we have a ton of bonus beers and seltzers. We cracked open the new Bud Light Lemonade Seltzers, Turbo Water from Hoof Hearted, Flute Loop from Fretboard, Black Limousine from Swine City and more! You know we always roll deep with the bonus beers.

Yes, you read that right, on this episode we eat a bunch of cake and drink a bunch of beers! Bryan brings his version of sip, chug or cellar, Beth brought a gold medal winning stout from Third Eye Brewing, and we drink some bangers from West Side and Sonder Brewing among others. We also steal Chris's weekend beers before the end of the show and drink those too. This show was a little Cincinnati heavy so sue us, we're from Cincinnati!

We won't deny the influence hazy IPAs have had on the industry for the past handful of years so why not talk about em and drink some? Chris, Beth, Bryan and Josh all bring in a hazy IPA that caught their eye and of course it can't be a Shift Beers episode without bonus beers!

Boy oh boy. This episode we unleash everything that is currently trending in the beer and alcohol world. We opened two flavors of the "seltzer" that is taking over the craft world. Pina Colada and Strawberry Banana Smooj. Yep, we got our hands on it and we give you our two cents on these things that are apparently seltzers.
We also crack open some Truly Tea Seltzers, Twisted Teas (how could we not), an artificially aged bourbon and some Cold Brew Jägermeister (eww).

The year is finally over and it's time to reflect on the good and forget the bad. Beth brings her version of chug, sip or cellar and we try a big variety of bonus beers! In true 2020 fashion we had to uproot from our recording spot mid show and move our setup. Even at the end 2020 is a cruel mistress! This show was really laid back and a lot of fun! Let's ring in the new year!

Here we are once again a few days before Christmas! (We probably should have saved this episode to do the Christmas beers eh?) We gathered the team and cracked open a few ready to drink canned cocktails. Some were surprisingly delicious, others...not so much. One of them was literally canned tomato soup, and quite honestly that wasn't a bad thing! Listen in if you want the DL on some of the popular RTDs out there. Have you found one that you like? What's up everyone! Shift Beers is back to it's regular scheduled show time! This week we welcome Jacob, a long time friend of Bryan's. We talk about some of their shenanigans over the years and we play our own game called Chug, Sip or Cellar. Kinda like that FMK game.

We are back after a one week hiatus! So sorry we skipped a week, but when you work in the brewing industry the week before any big holiday can get a little crazy. So instead of launching the episode on Monday like we've been doing recently here we are on a Friday!
This week we crack open a ton of holiday/Christmas beer offerings mostly from Cincinnati area breweries. We drink some tasty brews from Fretboard, Rhinegeist, Tafts, and more! Chris and Josh tried to be responsible and only bring a couple of beers a piece, but then Beth showed up with a mix six pack so there are a lot to go through! Sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
