Episode 58: Stout Szn

The air is getting cold and you know that means! It's Stout Season bitches! On this episode we are joined by a new person from the place we don't work at! Bhumin Desai is our culinary director and has worked at some heavy hitters around the Cincinnati area. While he's not as huge of a beer nerd as we were it was a blast having him on the show to chat about stouts! He will be returning because Josh fucked up and accidentally didn't resume recording after one of our breaks. Hey, shit happens, we drank a bunch of stouts so we had beers. 

Episode 57: Over/Under Game

This show we combine two of our favorite past episodes! We took Untappd Golf and Untappd Arcade and slapped them together for a game we like to call Over/Under. We each brought two beers, one that we thought was a low scoring beer and one that we thought was a high scoring beer. We taste them, guess the ratings and added a fancy points system to see who won. Who cares about all the technicalities. We're just here to drink beer, and boy did we. Tune in for a great time drinking with friends as always!

Episode 56: Cincy Staples, Banger in a Box Finale and Driving RVs to Breweries

In this episode the gang explores Cincinnati staple beers! Of course we couldn't try them all, but we had a few. If you're out there and are listening in another part of the country let us know what your staples are! Maybe we could set up a trade! Welcome to episode Shifty Five! We sit down with a nuclear scientist, Lee, as he reveals the secrets of the universe such as the double seam, the existence and superiority of center Twix, how fruit flies can multiply right before our eyes and more! Of course we had to chat beer as well so we decided to pick out beers from breweries we have never tried before. It was a lot harder than we thought which is probably a bad thing. We also had a surprise guest! Morgan Freeman, friend of the show joined us unexpectedly which made for some great conversation. This episode is BUSSIN!

Today we discuss non alcoholic beers for those of you who would still like to party, but have none of the side effects such as memory loss, vomiting, dizziness, gain of appetite, and waking up with someone you don't even know. Can you still get drunk on NA beers? We will certainly find out.

Episode 53: The Fall Beer Show (Basically Pumpkin Beers)

It's time to get basic at Shift Beers as we crack open the beers everyone loves to hate on, Pumpkin Beers! We try a total of 7 pumpkin beers and by the time we're done we've had our fill for the season. This week we have not one, but TWO special guests. We have Mitch, who recently exited the brewing industry, in the studio and Shawn White, owner of Nostalgia Brewing who we called because we knew pumpkin beers are one of his favorites!

We don't care if you like pumpkin beers or not, this show was a ton of fun and we know you're going to love it!

Episode 52: Horrifying Drink Names

Everyone likes a good pun....that is until it totally ruins the beer (or other drink) before you even try it. This episode we hit the local bottle shop shelves to try to find beers, RTDs, seltzers and more with names that don't make you want to buy them. Whoever thought Ranch Water sounded good? Any who, this episode was super fun so we hope you enjoy it!

Episode 51: Beers Named After Animals

How did we come up with this topic? We'll never know, but this show is dedicated to beers named after animals real or fake. Not only do we talk about the beer, but we debate weather pink dolphins exist, chat about spooky scary wolves and more!
